Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and raised in the nearby coast town of Guayanilla, Radames Alfonso knew exactly what he wanted to become from a very young age: a famous fashion designer. From dressing Barbie dolls as a child, to designing clothes for his friends and family members in school, Radames has a truly rare talent that would sooner or later define his life.

After graduating high school, Radames attended the following colleges and fields of study, in chronological order:

• School of Architecture, University of Puerto Rico
• Carlota Alfaro Academy, where he learned about the design process
• Bachelor of Sciences Degree of Nursing, Interamerican University of Puerto Rico
• Masters Degree in Nursing Administration, University of Puerto Rico
• O'More College of Design, Franklin, Tennessee
• Associates of Fine Arts Degree in Fashion Design, Ai Miami International University of Art & Design
• Attended fashion design workshops directed by Crstof Beaufays, Tony Del Campe, among others European designers

• Finalist Swarovski's "Cultural Fusion" 2006 Design Competition
• Miami Fashion Week 2006. Stanley Heller NAMSB Foundation Award for Excellence In Men's Wear
• Finalist Arts of Fashion International Competition "Mind & Body" 2006
• Miami Fashion Week 2007

• 2010 and 2001 South Florida Emerging Design Competition Winner
• Donating a dress for 2 consecutives years to couture for cancer in Kansas City
• Introduced a line for the first time in Puerto Rico during south fashion week
• Featured in the Moda Sur Puerto Rico South Fashion Week
• Featured in Ego Moda magazine Puerto Rico
• Dressed miss Puerto Rico 2009 Mayra Matos during miss universe pageant
